        Our Privacy Commitment: We do not track personal identities, we do not store location history on any servers, and we do not sell any user data to third parties.
    

1. Permissions and Local Data

To provide accurate religious timings and Qibla direction, the app utilizes the following system permissions:

Precise Location (GPS): Used to calculate the Qibla angle and determine your JAKIM prayer zone. This data is processed locally and is never transmitted to our servers.
Magnetometer (Compass): Used to orient the Qibla needle relative to your current heading.
Exact Alarm: Required for Android 13/14+ to ensure the Azan notification triggers at the exact start of prayer time.
Internet Access: Used exclusively to fetch the latest prayer schedules from the official e-Solat API.

2. Data Security

Since Jom Solat does not collect or store personal data on a centralized database, your information remains private on your own device. User preferences (language, zone, etc.) are saved locally and are deleted if the app is uninstalled.

3. Third-Party Links

The app may include links to official Islamic resources or the e-Solat portal. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.
